The Gateway to Transforming Lives with Compassion, Dignity, Respect, and Quality Care.
To understand your unique situation, we’ll talk about your substance use history, any medical or mental health conditions, your support system, and your treatment goals.
When admitted to Gateway you will see our Psych Nurse Practitioner for a full Psych Evaluation. If clinically and medically indicated you will be prescribed medications. You will also see our In-House Doctor for Medical History and Physical. We will do blood work and make sure you are medically clear.
Together, we'll create a personalized treatment plan that fits your needs and preferences. This plan will outline your goals, the steps you'll take, and a timeline for your recovery journey.
Next, we'll provide you with detailed information about different treatment options. We'll explain what detoxification, inpatient and outpatient programs, various therapies, and support groups involve. We want to make sure you understand all the possibilities and what each option could mean for you.
We’ll support you in staying motivated and engaged throughout your treatment. We’re here to offer encouragement, address any concerns, and reinforce the importance of sticking to your recovery path.
We'll regularly check in to see how you're doing and adjust your treatment plan as needed. Consistent support and monitoring are crucial for tracking your progress and ensuring you're on the right track.
We’ll educate you on recognizing relapse triggers and developing coping strategies. Together, we’ll create a relapse prevention plan and discuss what to do if you encounter any setbacks.
As you near the end of your formal treatment program, we'll help you plan for ongoing care. This could include referrals to aftercare programs, continued therapy, or joining peer support groups to maintain your progress.
Your recovery journey can benefit from the involvement of your family and support network. We’ll help educate them about substance abuse, include them in treatment decisions, and encourage their ongoing support.
We'll conduct regular follow-ups to evaluate how the treatment is working for you and celebrate your milestones. This helps ensure long-term success and provides opportunities to make any necessary adjustments to your plan.
